In the recommendation for creating EKS master node Security Group AWS documentation say

"All worker node security groups"

In this case will it work if I use the IP range (CIDR) of my VPC in which the worker nodes are created ?

My guess is it may not work because the EKS master nodes are in a managed VPC owned by AWS.
